ELKHART — The exhibit “Enchanted Lands: The Collage Works of Scott Hatt” continues through March 5 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.
Hutt, who died in October 2021 at age 64, operated The Spurious Fugitive art gallery in downtown South Bend from 2005 to 2008 and was known for his prolific work in collage art that led him to collaborate with artists around the world.
He also taught fine art and graphic design at South Bend University in Indiana from 1998 to 2003.
The exhibition includes more than 50 pieces by Hatt.
IUSB professor of music emeritus David Barton will speak about Hutt's life and art at 12:20 p.m. on January 26 at the museum. Admission is half price for gallery talks.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is $10-$6.
