ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University and Bally Sports Midwest announced today that at least 11 Billiken men's basketball games will be carried on the network during the 2022-23 season. There is the option for additional road games to be added to the package.
Dan McLaughlin, who for 24 seasons has called games for St. Louis Cardinals for Bally Sports Midwest, will be the primary television play-by-play voice for the seventh consecutive year. Billiken Hall of Famer Scott Highmark returns as an analyst.
The Bally Sports Midwest deal was reached on behalf of SLU by its athletics media rights holder, Billikens Sports Properties of Learfield IMG College.
“Bally Sports Midwest has been a great partner for us for many years and we are excited to have them back on the Billiken basketball telecast,” SLU Director of Athletics Chris May he said. “Jack Donovan and his team have been instrumental in providing a quality production for Billiken fans and we look forward to working with them this year to showcase an exciting crown season in our city. Dan McLaughlin and Scott Highmark are two of the best of what they do and I couldn't be more excited to get back behind the mic.”
All games shown on Bally Sports Midwest will also be streamed on the Bally Sports app and available on the new Bally Sports+ streaming service. They will also be simulcast on ESPN+ through the Atlantic 10 Conference's ESPN+ deal.
