But in addition to job prospects, location can play an important role in deciding which school to attend as well. Some of the schools on our list are located in the Midwest — the University of Chicago even claimed the No. 2 spot — so we narrowed down our list to shine a light on the heart of the country.
Pulling from our overall law school rankings, we've compiled a list of the best law schools in the Midwest.s is defined by US Census Bureau. The methodology draws us data from American Bar Association and focuses on the percentage of graduates who obtain full-time, long-term, highly desirable jobs, which includes positions at large, well-paying law firms—those with over 251 employees — and federal offices.
