As Extra Inning Softball begins her mission to support our new EIS 2.0 Initiative to Empowerment, inspiration and support all participants in the game of softball, we begin this transition by revealing our improved rankings for Class of 2029.
Our new ranking format includes a change from ranking individual players at the seventh and eighth grade level to ranking their age group by teams, both regionally and nationally. read more HERE!
This strategic shift reflects our commitment to promoting a team approach to the development and recognition of young athletes. By prioritizing team rankings for this age group, we aim to highlight the collective efforts and achievements of teams, coaches and players, highlighting the importance of teamwork, cooperation and overall team dynamics in sport.
On our third day Region Three (Midwest) rankings we distinguish the Top 25 teams from the nine-state region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin) listed alphabetically.
Tomorrow (February 8) we will reveal it Top 10 Teams in Region Three (Midwest).
As a reminder, once the scores are revealed for all six regions, we'll continue the excitement by announcing the Extra Elite 100 National Team Ranking for Class of 2029. This prestigious list will showcase the best teams from across the country, representing the pinnacle of achievement in fastpitch softball. Stay connected and be a part of this exciting journey as we honor the exceptional talent and dedication of these remarkable athletes.
