The Heartland Climate Tech Partnership announced today that they have officially launched a new resource database for innovative air conditioning and clean energy technology businesses across the Greater Midwest.
The database provides entrepreneurs with the tools they need to locate relevant programming and educational resources, attend networking and training events, and access critical design and prototyping resources.
Using the resource guide, entrepreneurs can find what's most relevant to them by searching, sorting, grouping and filtering to customize databases. Available resources include:
- Accelerators
- Incubators and collaboration spaces
- Natural laboratory spaces
- Educational resources
- Nationwide Innovation Ecosystem Partners
- Scholarships, innovation challenges and other resources.
Supported by US Department of Energy Office of Technology Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC)the Heartland Climate Tech Partnership promotes the commercialization of innovative climate technology and clean energy businesses throughout the Greater Midwest.
Established in 2021, the partnership consists of the Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University, Evergreen Climate Innovations, mHUB and the Spark Innovation Center with project affiliates including Chain Reaction Innovations based at Argonne National Laboratory, the Innovation Crossroads Program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the National Laboratory of Renewable Energy Sources. Partners support startups and small businesses through customized accelerator programs, virtual and in-person events, domain-specific curriculum, mentoring, prototyping resources, and connections to industry experts.
EPIC was created by Department of Energy Office of Technology Transitions to underline the importance of regional clusters, which increase the productivity of companies in the region, drive the direction and pace of innovation and stimulate the creation of new businesses, further strengthening the cluster itself.
Businesses are encouraged to visit www.heartland-climate.org to access these valuable resources and submit additional information.
