A new variety of flavored sparkling water will be available soon, and the flavors are probably familiar.
Jelly Belly has created jelly bean-flavored seltzer that will come in eight flavors. Don't worry, buttered popcorn isn't one of them.
Jelly Belly Sparkling Water flavors are French vanilla, lemon lime, orange sherbet, pina colada, pink grapefruit, tangerine, super cherry and watermelon.
Like most flavored seltzer drinks, Jelly Belly seltzer is simply carbonated water with natural flavors. No sugar, calories or sweeteners.
Seltzer water will initially be sold in 265 Hy-Vee stores in the Midwest. Jelly Belly Sparkling Water will be available in cartons of eight 12-ounce cans. It will also be available online at jellybelly.com soon.
While Jelly Belly's warehouse is located in Pleasant Prairie, The Joffer Beverage Co., based in Jacksonville, Oregon, will produce the seltzer water.
“The Jelly Belly brand promises fun, taste and quality — attributes we believe sparkling water drinkers are looking for,” said Justin Joffer, co-founder of Joffer Beverage Co., in a press release. “We want to bring excitement to the sparkling water category through unique and intense taste experiences.”
With over 100 Jelly Belly flavors to choose from, Joffer Beverage Co. wants to add new flavors in the future.
