As Midwest Outreach Manager at NRDC, Gina Ramirez works to further sustainable land use and zoning rules that can provide vital protections to areas of Chicago, such as the Southeast Side, burdened by cumulative industrial pollution. Ramirez is an active member of the Coalition to Ban Petcoke and the Southeast Environmental Task Force. He has a master's degree in sociology from Roosevelt University and a bachelor's degree in communications from DePaul University.
