MISHAWAKA — The Art League's next luncheon and speaker series features Randall Roberts at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 21 at Riverside Terrace, 426 Lincoln Way E.
Assistant curator at the Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart, Roberts will talk about the museum's permanent collection, which spans the 19th through the 21st centuries.
In this talk, with visuals, he will highlight important but sometimes overlooked works from the museum's collection that mark important milestones in American Art History. In doing so, it will provide commentary on the artist's biography, process and intent, as well as the ideals of their time.
He received a BA from the Raclin School of the Arts at South Bend University in Indiana.
