Takeuchi-USA has named Jeffrey Jacobsmeyer as the new regional director of operations for the central Midwest. Jacobsmeyer's duties will include agent development and recruiting, inventory control, forecasting, promotions, sales planning and targeting in the central Midwest region, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota.
“Jeff's career experience and knowledge make him ideal for the role of regional operations manager at Takeuchi,” said Shay Klusmeyer, director of sales for Takeuchi-US in the central and western United States. “From working as a product specialist to becoming director of business development and even running his own contracting business, Jeff's background makes him a great asset to Takeuchi in the central Midwest region. We are very pleased to have him on the team us.”
Based in Hawk Point, Mo., an area northeast of St. Louis, Jacobsmeyer served as global product manager, sales manager and marketing director in the compact equipment industry for 12 years before joining Takeuchi. Prior to his corporate career, Jacobsmeyer owned and operated his own grading company, giving him unique insight into the needs of equipment owners and operators.
“I am fortunate to have experience in multiple agency roles, as an end-user customer and corporate agent for three global brands,” said Jacobsmeyer. “I am excited to use my experience in product marketing, business management, sales and product support to work on behalf of a great company like Takeuchi.”
