The Randall Zwarte Band are back on the road after recently completing their new CD “Blow the Clown”, which will be released in early summer.
The band will be performing at Norfolk's Off Road Ranch on Saturday, May 30th.
The Randall Zwarte Band's first single, “Hard to Let You Go” is now available on iTunes, along with their other eight CDs.
The band has covered some big miles over the years – enough miles to circle the planet more than 50 times.
After writing the anthem at the world's largest bike rally – the song titled “Sturgis” – the group has enjoyed popularity at many of the biggest motorcycle rallies and festivals in the country, including Sturgis, Daytona Beach, Laconia and Arizona Bike Week.
Randall Zwarte is originally from Madison, SD, and is the fifth of 13 children. He started his first band at the age of 13, when he started writing his own music.
His music has a somewhat friendly storytelling approach that many people can relate to.
Edmund Filarecki hails from Buffalo, NY, and has been playing in the band for many years and has his own following. He is an extremely accomplished guitarist and supports the orchestration of the band.
Bruce Knapp, the band's drummer, hails from Cook, Neb., and also performs vocals.
Hastings native Ronnie Paul is one of the most sought after bass players in the Midwest. He is described as the steady backbone of the band's rhythm.
Their strongest suit continues to be their live performances.
Their music has been described as Tom Petty with an edge and they deliver an intense, soulful performance with unique vocals.
