CINCINNATI, OH – SigmaTEK has named four additions to its Central United States Region team. The team works under regional sales manager Mike Galetti, regional sales manager and a 23-year veteran of the manufacturing industry.
“As manufacturing across the board continues to strengthen, companies are taking a hard look at tools, technologies and processes in an effort to maximize output and eliminate waste. Nowhere is this more evident than in the labor heartland,” he says. Galetti. “We are taking these aggressive steps to remain responsive to the needs of both current and future customers.”
Young people were appointed:
Todd Shrum, regional technical manager: with 16 years of manufacturing experience, Shrum worked with SigmaTEK to develop combination plasma drilling machines while working at WA Whitney as an application manager. It helps implement SigmaNEST to take full advantage of the software's capabilities for multiple cutting processes and related manufacturing applications.
Jennifer Gallagher, Regional Sales Representative: A US Army veteran, Gallagher began manufacturing as a SigmaNEST developer for Tanaka, Mazak and Mitsubishi laser machines. He now works with the 3D CAD application at SigmaNEST, based in Chicago, IL, helping companies leverage material costs and improve shop floor efficiency.
Michel Scavuzzo, regional sales representative: Scavuzzo works with companies to evaluate the advanced use of nesting and materials. Based in Dallas, Texas, Michel and Chris Wickliffe work as a team to increase response times for business transactions and improve regional support.
Chris Wickliffe, Peripheral Applications Engineer: A long-time SigmaNEST, Wickliffe holds a degree in mechanical engineering and helps companies implement time, material and cost savings programs. His background includes programming for punch, combos, laser, oxyfuel, plasma, waterjet, knife, routers and press brakes. Chris works out of the Dallas, Texas office.
