(LINCOLN, Neb.) – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has entered into a three-year exclusive partnership with Hudl to be its live streaming home. Through this partnership, the 14 G-MAC institutions will broadcast all of their games exclusively on Hudl TV.
“As the Great Midwest Digital Network enters its seventh year, it is poised to make great strides in this exciting new partnership with Hudl,” said Tom Daeger, Great Midwest Commissioner. “Our network is a tremendous asset and we are grateful for Hudl's commitment to allow us to continue to grow the network for the benefit of our members, student-athletes and their many supporters in the years to come.”
“It's been a pleasure working with the Hudl team building this new era of the Great Midwest Digital Network,” added Katie Gilhooly, Director of Digital Media & Communications for Great Midwest. “The Great Midwest strives to continue with a digital-first approach, and we're excited to partner with Hudl to continue those efforts. We look forward to showing off the new look of the network to G-MAC fans everywhere during the season 2023-24.”
As part of the partnership, Hudl TV will be the destination for all Great Midwest sporting events across the conference's 26 sports, including all football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball games played at member institutions. Certain games played on G-MAC courts will be automatically recorded with AI-powered Hudl Focus cameras and uploaded to the Focus Exchange network. Film of some interconference games will be automatically streamed for family and fans to watch.
“We are thrilled that G-MAC has chosen Hudl TV as their destination for their teams' games,” said Ben Kant, Head of Streaming at Hudl. “Our mission is to give every athlete the shot they deserve. This is our 16th broad conference partnership at the Division II level, which is a key step forward for conferences across the country. With the addition of G- MAC, we are the destination to watch and celebrate athletic achievement throughout DII.”
You can watch all G-MAC games at home completely free on Hudl TV starting this fall.
