Despite suffering a season-ending injury on opening day, Geordie Ball continues to capitalize in the NIL space.
The Nebraska The pitcher is signed to a NIL deal with Midwest Bank. Bahl appeared in a promotional video announcing her collaboration, her latest since transferring from Oklahoma before this season.

Bahl's deal with Midwest Bank is the latest addition to NIL's portfolio since it decided to return to Nebraska. With 161,000 social media followers – including 102,000 on Instagram – she recently announced a partnership with EA Sports promoting the upcoming video game College Football 25. He also has deals with Anderson Ford of Lincoln and Mizuno as part of its growing portfolio.
Ball arrived in Lincoln as a highly touted transfer after a decorated career at Oklahoma. In fact, after signing, Omaha Storm Chasers hosted “Jordy Bahl Day” through a NIL deal to help celebrate her arrival. During her time in Norman, Bahl earned at least a share of Big 12 Pitcher of the Year honors both seasons and earned Conference Freshman of the Year honors in 2022.
However, a torn ACL in the season opener during the Puerto Vallarta Classic meant Bahl would miss the 2024 season. She later announced her plans to redshirt the 2024 campaign, giving her two more years of eligibility.

When Bahl committed to Nebraska, she made it clear that the decision had nothing to do with her time at Oklahoma. She simply wanted to return home, as she said in her statement.
Overall, Bahl compiled a 44-2 record in the circle as a starter with 397 career strikeouts and a 0.97 ERA. The plan was to bolster Nebraska's rotation, but injury cut things short. Still, the plan is for her to return to the Huskers in 2024 after taking her redshirt year.
“With a heart of gratitude for God's plan and timing, I will redshirt this year and look forward to a season of growth and learning from a different perspective,” Bahl wrote in a post on her social media pages. “I am grateful for the support of my family, friends, coaches and staff. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful and loving people in my life.”
