A health care system and three educational institutions in Springfield are teaming up to help meet the region's future health needs.On Tuesday, they announced the Alliance for Health Education and officially signed agreements.Alliance members include Coxhealth, Springfield Public Schools, Missouri State University and Ozarks Technical Community College. Despite massive spending and recent polls, three incumbent Midwest governors who campaigned on the clean energy transition beat their Republican challengers on Tuesday. Air quality in the Midwest is once again a fire target in Canada as heavy smoke from the north combines with a heat wave in the region. The National Weather Service has issued air quality warnings for much of the Upper Midwest because of the smoke. If you recall, the transaction was first announced in May when the two companies entered into a definitive merger agreement.
