Ethanol producer Valero Energy is joining a major Midwest carbon dioxide pipeline network, pushing the $8 billion project forward. Summit Carbon Solutions announced Monday that eight Valero ethanol plants will supply captured CO2 to the development, which is set to transport and store emissions from nearly 60 facilities in five states.
