INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's basketball team was ranked first in the latest NCAA DII Midwest Region poll, released Wednesday. This is the first set of top 10 rankings of the season, as last week's programs were simply listed as “under review.”
The Greyhounds wrap up the regular season this weekend, battling Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday afternoon at 8:30 ET.
UIndy on pace to make 14th NCAA Tournament appearance and second under head coach Paul Corsaro. Winners of seven of their last eight, the Hounds are currently 19-7 this winter and have already clinched a share of the GLVC regular season crown for the second straight year – the first time a league program has done so that since Kentucky Wesleyan won three straight from 1997-00.
