Fort Wayne-based Midwest Pipe & Steel is doing business under a new name.
The northeast Indiana company announced last week that it is now doing business under the Midwest Steel Group brand. Its leaders said in a press release that the name better reflects the “continued, successful expansion of [the company’s] capabilities and services in the sector”.
“Our new name better tells the story of our growth and emphasizes how much more we offer our customers and the market today than we did years ago,” Midwest Steel Group founder and owner Jerry Henry said in the release.
Midwest Steel Group was founded nearly 50 years ago. Its subsidiaries include Paragon Tube, Paragon Steel, Wayne Metals, Buckeye Metals, Ferrometrics, Midwest Metal Fabrication and Maumee Metal Recycling.
“Today, we offer more than steel — we offer service, value, quality and integrity our customers know they can count on,” Henry said. “We are proud to unveil this new identity that demonstrates how we have evolved into a strategic, integrated partner for our clients.”
Along with the new name, Midwest Steel Group is also unveiling a new website, midweststeelgroup.com.
