Home Sweet Home is the provider's first Michigan-based agency.
PurposeCare has acquired Home Sweet Home In-Home Care, an independent home health care company based in St. Louis. Joseph of Michigan. Home Sweet Home has been serving southwest Michigan clients since 2011, fostering a positive relationship in the community between clients, referral partners and payers.

The acquisition makes Home Sweet Home PurposeCare the first Michigan-based agency, bringing 400 patients and more than 300 caregivers and furthering the provider's expansion into the Midwest.
PurposeCare provides home care and health services to more than 3,000 clients per week, most of whom are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.

PurposeCare is a holding company under Lorient Capital and the parent company of agencies including Purpose Home Health, Alliance Home Health Services, A1 Home Health Care, A1 Nursing Care, Newsome Home Health Care and Honor Home Health, which were acquired in November 2022.
