The South Dakota Little League baseball team had a very successful weekend at the 2023 Little League Baseball Midwest Region tournament, advancing to the semifinals later this week.
The Sioux Falls team defeated Iowa 2-1 in its opener and then blanked Nebraska 7-4 in the quarterfinals. This sets the stage for a semifinal matchup against North Dakota, which continues throughout the tournament.
North Dakota beat Kansas 15-1 in its opener and then dominated Wisconsin, winning 16-2 in the second.

ESPN+ is streaming every Midwest Regional game, including South Dakota's semifinal matchup with North Dakota. The game will take place on Wednesday August 9 at 10am. CT.

If the Sioux Falls team wins Wednesday, it will play the winner of the elimination bracket in the championship game on Friday, Aug. 11 at 12 p.m. CT. If they lose, they will play the qualifying group on Thursday at noon to try and keep their season alive.
