MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Midwest is pleased to announce that Stacy Coleman has been appointed President of the Health Department. Coleman is the current Regional Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for SSM Health Oklahoma.
As President, he will lead strategy and operations to help expand high-quality health care services in eastern Oklahoma County and surrounding areas. She will also retain her strategy and business development responsibilities for SSM Health's Oklahoma operations.
“I have had the privilege of working with Stacy Coleman for 28 years and have witnessed the passion with which she extends our healing ministry to as many Oklahomans as possible,” said Joe Hodges, Regional President, SSM Health Oklahoma. “I know he will bring the 'dig and build' spirit to eastern Oklahoma County and create the best possible experience for our patients, our employees and the community as a whole.”
Coleman received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Oklahoma State University before completing a master's degree in healthcare administration at the University of Oklahoma. He has served in many roles at SSM Health over the past 28 years. He created a strategic plan that included the redevelopment of the St. John's Hospital campus. Anthony in Midtown Oklahoma City, increased the number of physicians serving central and eastern Oklahoma and led to significant infrastructure improvements. In addition, Coleman developed the business strategy and plans for the transition of two hospitals to SSM Health over the past two years, including St. Anthony Hospital – Midwest, where he will serve as President.
Coleman has been recognized with the Journal Record's “Oklahoma's 40 under 40” awards and OKCBusiness.com's “Forty under Forty” awards. She has served on several professional and community boards during her tenure at SSM Health.
