ELKHART — “A Place Remembered: The Paintings of Diane Tesler” continues through Oct. 4 at the Midwest Museum of American Art, 429 S. Main St.
A resident of Kewanna, Ind., Tesler specializes in the abandoned houses, vehicles and people of small Indiana towns in an effort to pay homage to the dreams and memories that have gone before.
The exhibition includes 42 paintings, gouaches and monotypes.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is $5-$4. free on Sundays.
