PROVO, Utah — No. 35 BYU women's tennis heads to the Midwest for matches against Iowa State on Thursday and No. 58 Kansas on Saturday to start a three-game road trip for the Cougars.

No. 35 BYU Notes:
- Coach Holly Hassler is in her sixth season with a 69-49 record. Assistant coach Gabby Curtis is in her third season.
- The Cougars are 11-2 this season, including a win over No. 65 Kansas State (4-1) and a loss to No. 1 Oklahoma State (2-5) last week.
- Bobo Huang (10-1) leads BYU in singles wins with ten.
- Tina Li (8-4) is second on the team in singles wins with eight.
- Kendall Kovick (7-4) and Kara Wheatley (7-3) both have seven singles wins.
- The doubles team of Wheatley and Lee is currently undefeated with ten doubles wins (10-0).
- Huang and Kaavya Sawhney's doubles record is 8-2 on the year, second on the team in doubles wins.

- The Cyclones are 2-8 (0-3 Big 12), coming off a loss to No. 57 Kansas (2-5) last weekend.

- Head Coach Jaron Maestas is in his first season leading the program and most recently spent the last two seasons as the Associate Head Coach at Kansas.
- Iowa State reached the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships last year and fell to No. 14 Oklahoma, 3-4.
