Chance the Rapper has been announced for the 2024 Minnesota State Fair
Just added to this lineup is Chicago native Chance the Rapper!
He was a coach on The Voice a year ago and now he's back the newest season which just started at the end of February.
Chance will take the stage at the Great Minnesota Get-Together on Friday, August 23 at 7 p.m. This makes him, for now, the first performer of the 2024 state fair. The show starts on the 22nd, however, so another artist may appear that day and they just haven't been announced.
Tickets to see Chance the Rapper go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10am. Prices range from $48 to $148 depending on where you want to sit. And if you want to sit on the party deck, which sounds like a lot of fun, that's $96 per person.
Any more grandstand announcements coming?
There will likely be even more grandstand announcements. The state fair runs this year from Thursday, August 22 to Monday, September 2. We currently have no performances for Thursday 22nd, Sunday 25th, Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th, Friday 30th, Saturday 31st or Sunday 1st.
I'm guessing some big shows will eventually be announced for Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st. We'll have to wait and see!
