He opened the show with Van Orden making a statement that he has gone to Israel on a “data-finding mission.” But he comes in the middle of House Republicans trying to elect a President so he can actually govern, let alone help resolve the Middle East situation.
Speaking of “Middle East”, the US doesn't have one, but it does have a Midwest, and there is some confusion as to who lives there. We analyze a recent poll on this.
Before that happened, though, we talked about this upcoming book that said Oprah Winfrey pitched the idea to Mitt Romney to run for president.
Later, we included a Top 50 list of the best hamburgers in the US, which does not contain burgers from Wisconsin or Iowa. There's also a list of Wisconsin's top 25 burger joints, very Madison-Milwaukee based, which was disappointing.
After that, we spent a minute trying to hash out why the only way to contact Dolly Parton is via FAX.
Completed the show on how the Wisconsin state legislature is prioritizing funding for the Milwaukee Brewers stadium, but split on how to help with child care.
Show notes:
— Derrick Van Orden he leaves for Israel.

– Who is “Midwest?”
— Dolly Parton via fax only.
— The student thinks she's going to Miami, ends in Oho.
